U.S. Embassy Port Louis, MauritiusSecurity Message for U.S. Citizens:Political RalliesNovember 24, 2015
The U.S. Embassy in Port Louis advises U.S. citizens in Seychelles to avoid political rallies and demonstrations in the run up to the Presidential election. The Presidential election will take place December 3-5. Numerous public rallies and high-profile political events are expected to take place leading up to the election. These activities will lead to increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the period. Previous elections in Seychelles have generally been peaceful. However, as in any country, even peaceful demonstrations can quickly turn violent with little or no warning. You should avoid areas where rallies and demonstrations are taking place, and exercise caution in the vicinity of large gatherings.Remain aware of your surroundings, including local events, and monitor local news stations for updates. Maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to enhance your personal security. You should also be aware that in an emergency situation, mobile phone networks can be overwhelmed with call volume, making cellular communication difficult.
A community of decent freedom loving Seychellois, determined to see Seychelles FREE from the clutches of failure, corruption, and lack of respect of Democracy and fundamental human rights. A spin off of the anti Communist league who believe in Sesel Pou Seselwa.

PL More Members Then Supporters
The mask on PL is being uncovered all by themselves as the week before the Presidential Elections unfolds the reality that satanic groups never triumph over good. Eventually they expose themselves.
Michel Orders Security To Praslin and La Digue
James Michel who called the elections himself, and who said himself, he is ready for elections anytime, has made a desperate move France Albert Rene would never both to do. Michel ordered a coast Guard Ship to hide behind La Digue in case he needs help, the gun boat has been station there for five days, hiding on the back side of La Digue.
At Ros Bouquet the entrance to Baie St, Anne Michel ask Shiekh Khalifa to station his radar interceptor ship to monitor Praslin as his members refuse to be his supporters.
People who do not read or write are given instructions to hand out Le Pep leaflets to people who do read and write. The fiasco over the last weeks has been embarrassing at best. Distributors take 200 papers each hand out one or two, then plank against a casuarina tree and drink a SCR. 20.00 rupee Seybrew on sale for elections. They are paid SCR. 500.00 to hand out papers.
Boat in Fly In For Rally
Over 400 people are boat in from La Digue and Mahe from Friday onwards for. Sunday Rally. A Praslin Rally with members and supporters will not exceed 50 people on Praslin today.
A motorcade was held with Minister Mitcy Larue heading it. She is not known for her polishes ways. Seven cars, most belong to her children. Two trucks from. Lone Rose. The speakers were louder then a disco. As they went up to Anse La blague, residents shut their door. We no longer trust Mitcy Larue. She has embellished her family at the expense of Praslin. Now we understand she is securing visas for Australia.
Let SESELWA Vote in Peace
PL let Seselwa vote in peace. The country is too divided for you to continue on this path of arrogance. We will finish in civil war. When this happens you are the biggest loser.

Seychelles Elections Has A BIG SURPRISE!
The presidential elections have been called early by Mr. James Michel under the pretext that he has no opponent and a victory will be very easy in 2015. Mr. Michel has been advised by IMF that 2016 will be a very bad year as economic downturn roots Seychelles again for a third time in nearly Ten ( 10 ) years. As the days roll on, and weeks become days, days become hours before the results of the Presidential Elections, it does not look good for the sitting president. A BIG SURPRISE ahead.
PL Voters Abandoning In Droves
PL voters are abandoning PL in droves. At the same time, a few opposition individuals are endorsing Michel out of opportunism. The manipulation on SBC is obvious, and Seychellois have gotten use to this game by now, and take these political party broadcast endorsements with a grain of salt. They know what lies behind a PL endorsement.
Pillay Racks Up Support
At the same time, Pillay is racking enthusiastic support, voluntarily from the public. Individuals have been campaigning for Pillay actively without Pillay even knowing it. The attacks on him early in the campaign has turned into a political jackpot, with support, sympathy, empathy, pouring out across the country for Patrick Pillay and his Lalyans Seselwa.
The BIG SURPRISE for the whole Nation will be in the Ballot Box where supporters of Pillay in State House, Ministries, offices, bus company, Pension Fund, MNA's who cannot be seen to support any other party but PL, will cast their support for Lalyans Seselwa. It is estimated that Pillay's silent majority of unknown supporters alone, now reach 15,000, surpassing what SNP will get in an election this time around.
In PL Conference, Pillay supporters sat in the chairs with their hand bags on their lap and listen to Michel give a speech.
In LS conference, no one who supports Michel would attend a LS conference.
Voters Tricking PL
Voters are tricking PL. PL sends a surveyor or census canvass to homes around Mahe, Praslin, La Digue. The residents are ask a series of questions, they answer most of the questions to please the government, because they know the survey is just another way to spy on them. Seychellois have gotten so use to this Communist game that they malfunction the surveys from the start. They know PL leaders stay in the office and are no longer comfortable to walk about and be with the people. So the people trick them. The results of the trick will be in the box.
MNA Went To Sleep
PL MNA s went to sleep for years. Before an election run, PL should have tested their blood sugar levels to see how long they were asleep. It is a dangerous thing to risk an election on sleeping MNA's.
Danny Faure is no fool. If there is any viability left in PL is is due to this man. Suspecting his MNAs are sleeping on the job, he sent put State House staffers to knock on the doors. But will it be enough? Will it be too little too late? Has the cancer of apathy, dejection spread too far in Le Pep camp, deteriorating the internal organs of the political organization? A party out of touch with the people, is a party that navigates in dangerous seas. The next two weeks will prove to be very dangerous indeed.
SNP No. 4 Party
The polls we are running suggest that SNP will place No. 4. Pillay places No. 1. Le Pep who we thought was No. 3 is now placing No. 2.due to hard work over the last month it is now striking distance to Pillay who came out of no where, and only a historical move could have created him.
Alexia Amesbury and Fonseka place no. 3 beating Ramkalawans depressed, no focus SNP.
How is this possible if SNP had a motorcade from Ros Copra?Well, cars do not vote, especially rented cars.
Second Round
If PL and LS do not garner 50 percent plus one vote in the first round, we are headed into a second round election right before Christmas. In a second round, expect PL to pull off the gloves, and work real hard. By then they will know who in the offices do not support them, and we will likely see some ministers ushered out to the gardens permanently.
But Seychelles needs better then partisan division. We need to seek common ground, to move forward. Life for all of us will get a lot tougher in 2016. We may consider, a paradigm shift in the way we see ourselves and the world around us, before we perish from our own foolishness like so many other people before us in human history.

Presidential Elections: Understanding the Chaos!
(Dateline Seychelles) The candidates for the Seychelles Presidential Elections due to take place December 3,4,5 have filed their nomination papers. A inside look at the candidates and what they are all about.
Boulle - Rosalie Team
This team is made up of lawyer Philip Boulle who has stand for elections every time since 1992, as an Independent candidate. Boulle is a successful offshore lawyer who retains an unshaking aloofness. He is known for hiring political help to buttress him, keeps the contracts short term to keep cost down and refused over the years to form a political party. He has preferred instead, to manipulate parties from the back ground at times.
Peter Rosalie is a accountant and former councillor of Seychelles Chamber of Commerce. He is a former member of SNP, and represents in part the fall out in SNP. Rosalie is perceived to be a person of high integrity, with political potential.
Amesbury- Fonseka Team
Alexia Amesbury is the first woman Presidential Candidate. She is a tough defender of persons charged with crimes, smart lady who is easy to under estimate on first impression. Speak to her, the lady is just simply sharp and a living testament to what people can become when they remain focused. She lacks political experience, but has a big heart for Justice, fairness and individual rights.
Roy Fonseka is a ex- British Army Hero decorated. He has been James. Mancham's top dog in security affairs and has enjoyed a lucrative security contract from State House for years,to protect the former President, who has endorsed James Michel early this year.
Michel- Faure
Michel has amended the constitution to allow him to stand another term. He seems to misunderstand the key provisions of " 3 terms- 5 years, as he took over from Rene in 2004.
He seems to think this did not count and used his super majority in the National Assembly to amend the Constitution. The Commonwealth is outraged over this, it is likely they do not monitor the elections. Michel took the country into Bankruptcy in 2007 and he has adopted an IMF program and his government is bound strictly to implementing an IMF program of Reform. Hence all the austerity in the country.
Danny Faure is his running mate, a solid administrator regardless of his critics. He is the glue that keeps PL together for what it is, and potentially the only person who can rebuild PL after the major fallout with PL Pillay clan. Where this dice rolls, is the biggest question in Seychelles right now.
Ramkalawan- Mancienne
Ramkalawan is the Priest- Millionaire we have been writing about for years. He is his own worse enemy, displaying tantrums of arrogance from time to time, to the point that his arrogance is now destroying his political viability. He has lost all momentum, has had to re invent himself after a dormant 4 years. His manifesto says the No. 1 problem in Seychelles is drugs not corruption and victimization. I wonder how the drugs get into the country? A third place finish for Ramkalawan would do Seychelles well. We can remove this scourge of narcissism and arrogance from the opposition camp that causes it to lose big in every election.
Mancienne is an ex Editor And ex teacher. He lacks any political persona. If he has been picked to run with Ramkalawan, it is because no one else would be willing to go through the torture again. Mancienne is always willing to slog it out. In the last election SNP sent him to Mont Buxton. He went.
Pillay- Afif
Ex SPPF stalwarts who have taken a political fever and uprising to the people. Pillay was attack by CID and threaten with a human Trafficking charge last month. This conspiracy backed fired and the heart of the country poured out to this former teacher, former administrator, ex minister, ex ambassador. Seychellois do not like seeing their own openly victimized. Pillay speaks with heavy emotions and captures his audience. He will be a force to be reckon with as Ramkalawan tumbles in the jungle of the next next three weeks.
Ahmed Afif is an inside man of SPPF turned against a system he calls " very corrupted". Afif had a popular radio show on pure FM, before he was kicked out for being too popular with the public. As the saying goes: " be weary when you steal the thunder of the King". As an economist, he has managed the IMF Reform Plan in early years, run Air Seychelles as a Director and nouvobanq. What made him irate was the fuss over forming " Seychelles Airlines".
He is capable and hard working. The parting of Pillay and Afif from PL has been very bitter. In fact, on both sides, it has become an energy unto itself.
Perhaps this is the best time to appeal to all players to see how we can seek common ground to move Seychelles forward, instead of holding her hostage over our divisions and petty squabbles buried and rooted in the past.
When you vote, vote for what is best for Seychelles future!

PL Canvass Announce FEAR of Pillay
The fever grabs PL supporters who have been neglected by the party machinery for years. Many have been forgotten.
When the canvassers arrive to the homes, under the hills of beautiful Seychelles, they do not know the names or faces of the residents. They come arrogantly declaring: " Give Michel A Vote" . That is it. No introduction, no name . No discussion. The agents come from State House and have been tasked to deal with Praslin a island now completely out of the grips of Madam Pimen Plastic.
PL have neglected Praslin for too long. This election, Michel will lose Grand Anse, and he will lose Baie St. Anne to Ton Pat Fever.
SNP?
No one talks about SNP. It is dead. Prasliniose say they are putting hope in The Fever, as the temperature rises. When ask why he has taken to TON PAT fever, one Praslinoise told me: " I have nothing to lose after suffering for five years with PL, I may as well die with Ton Pat Fever!
Background
PL has up to now allow DMC a free hand to take control of the economy on Praslin. Masons and Creole have suffocated and killed off the little players. They control everything from excursions, to transfers, to lunches. PL has been made aware of this, but they remain silent in action up to now.
In development and Land Use, up until now, they have shut down virtually any development on Praslin with the Land Use Plan and 50 meter mark restriction.
If this changes we will report.
Meanwhile, the fever has said they will undo this policy.

Ramkalawan Has The Nerve To Speak About Pensions
In the SNP Convention this year, party leader Wavel Ramkalawan stood before a crowd of 200 with square placards that say: " The Time is Now" ......( Again), after " State House Anytime", then the threatening " State House Anytime Now", predisposed from " Nou Pa Pou Zanmen Les Tombe" ( note the key word " Zanmen", we will treat later, and called political pensions outrageous. A mouthful indeed, but Ramkalawan requires a mouthful.
Who Marched To State House In 2006 Asking For Pensions?
Who marched to State House in 2006, after Michel was handed a victory by Ramkalawan to discuss the way forward on October 3, 2006 settlements, pensions for MNA's and list of other requests? It was none other then Wavel John Charles Ramkalawan
SNP Raised Their Hands To Vote Yes!
When the behind the door arrangements from State House were made, the Emoluments Bill 2006 et al, came before the National Assembly for debate and vote.
SPPF voted as usual. SNP what did they do?
It was awful, a transgression on the promise it made to the ordinary Seychellois, not long after kicked Frank Elizabeth out of the National Assembly, and breaking the political alliance with the Democratic Party ( DP). The SNP voted in FAVOR, as in YES to the pension and salary increases. Yes!
SNP led by Wavel Ramkalawan debated and argued in favor of the pensions, all of them. At the time it was a 38 percent increase in salaries. Draped in Green like a cameleon, they joined ranks with SPPF, the whole gang of national freeloaders, and voted: " YES"! Yes to a massive pension for life for each MNA regardless of age, regardless of political party. Do not let Ramkalawan talk you into a stupor state of numbness, he is the one that voted " YES".
From this YES, his spinner machine turned into "Ya Papa!". Today, we say, " Ya, Ou en Belle Papaya....koule ek plim lo li". Read on SNP it gets better.
Life of The Millionaire Priest
While ordinary Seychellois struggle, pay 15 percent on salaries plus 15 percent on anything they buy, nurses suffer, teachers suffer, life for Ya Papaya- priest millionaire has been very rosy the last five years. He has been given roughly 45,000.00 every month by the State. He is under 63 and that works out to about: SCR. 2.7 MILLION. Before he reaches retirement age.

When The Madness Starts Where Does It End?
James Michel has embarked on a path of madness to keep power at all cost. In Mauritius early this year, he told L'Express and Le Mauricien has is ready for elections and has no opposition in Seychelles to challenge him. He adds....." It will be an easy election.
By mid year, his party PL had been broken up,into two parties with break away Patrick Patrick, Dr. Ramadoss ( financier, Fabrike extra privileged, Viagra delivery boy and juice factory owner), William Herminie, Simon Testa ( ex minister), Noellie Alexander ( ex- minister kicked out of Coral Strand for being non- Russian). The fever was unleashed on James Michel.
Blunder Upon Blunder
In reaction to this new break away force, Michel pulled out the cash bag. Rumors in the mill, confirm numerous people being called into State House for pay outs, offers of settlement to retain loyalty to PL. The Tsunami of break away support from PL, like most Tsunamis was just too fast for the victim ( in this case PL - to react effectively). Pillay fever took Seychelles like a fire storm propelled by an invincible wind.
DR. RAMADOSS EXIT
The first card to be played of madness was to involve Dr. Ramadoss in Seychelles politics. Pillay is not to be blame for this. It is Michel who pulled Ramadoss from the back room and put him on stage in 2006 and then pushed him to Seychelles Chamber of Commerce, and cause a disaster there. After The pay offs apparently failed grossly, and Pillay reported to youtube, events, faster then SBC could figure out what country it works in, PureFM went under censorship, and numerous broadcasters left, and Free Speech was replaced with rubbish between one broadcaster and a Sri Lankan DJ trying to learn to speak English, and questioning why his fingers are short.
Sri Lankan Joker Card
PL pushed another mad play with trumped up Human trafficking charge on Pillay, an ex Ambassador, ex minister, of five ministries. Sounds fantastic, but it is just a play pulled out of the Malayasian play book and Maldives play book. James Michel was starting to look small minded, pressured, and very un statesmanlike. In any case, the tactics are typical of Michel under pressure. Michel opts to not speak to opponents. Hence the divide grows for him. In the end, he is the biggest loser. Because he breaks the fatal rule of politics: " Never Lose Touch, Even With Your Opponents".
Afif Post On Gossip Column
Ahmed Afif, the ex - Principal Secretary for PL, for many years, has been posting on Facebook allegations that NDEA will plant drugs on opposition players and arms, to get a charge. NDEA is a super cop organization not answerable to the Police, but answerable to the President by statute. Who is that President? James Michel.
Another blunder of madness in play. The Army is supporting Pillay. They will not shed Seychellois blood for Michel to stay in power. This leaves Michel with a few cracks who will fight for him, mostly from UAE. Michel relies on NDEA to muscle his way around the country. This has been how things work for years. But with diminishing prospects in an election, facing a possible third place finish, Michel has lost his presidential air. State House has been converted into a political branch office, by panic and mis management. Chaos unfolding, staff pledging allegiance to Pillay fever everyday, ministers secretly jumping ship with deals being made in private.
Why the Madness Around Michel?
The madness is surrounding Michel because he mistreats his opponents. He strong arms them when they threaten his comfort zone. He lacks a sense of humor, necessary to oil a dry path when a critic catches one making an ass of himself, which is normal in politics from time to time.
The ability to laugh at ones self, is a powerful tool. Michel just takes himself too seriously, when no one else is.
Reconciliation
Michel has not delivered on National reconciliation. This was the cornerstone of many of his early speeches. In 2004 he said: " I am the President of all Seychellois". " Judge me by my actions". Even a high profile person as myself, who has had his offices broken into by James Michel thugs, his garage burned down by the same thug group, dogs killed as usual, has had Gris Gris placed at my house by a high profile agent MNA now Minister, has not seen or heard from James Michel since 2004. I wonder what the ordinary citizen must be feeling. James Michel knows, he has done much more then all of the above to me. After all, the " President of All Seychellois cannot possibly claim ignorance on very subject: " ah,ah, mwan pa to konnen,sa".
The usual bliss reply you get from Mr. President.
Let the madness unfold, where it will stop, no one knows!
Our blog views now compile to 1.5 million. Sooner rather then later, Mr. Michel will get my message.

PL Cry Foul Play!
This week the PL Leader of Government Business Marie Antoinette Rose gave a lavish speech on the foul play of the opposition parties, who have resorted to foul language and foul cartoons of PL founder.
The allegations come on the heels of Facebook pages like Gossip Column ( blocks any comment that questions Ramkalawan) Lari bazaar ( character assassin site of PL) small minded Seychelles Daily have gone into over heating mode with caricature content and poor taste commentary, some without base in reality. Pandora's Box has been open.
Media Commission Reacts
The rage on these pages is like placing wood to a fire already lit. Larry Chetty of the Seychelles Media commission, a usually quiet person, took to SBC to threaten action if things persist he made a appropriate call for civility in our internal political affairs.
The Strategy Backfires!
PL have made it their campaign to attack Patrick Pillay with an array of allegations, causing him to be dragged to CID over allegations of sodomy, human trafficking of young indigent Sri Lankan.
If you buy a airline ticket for a Sri Lankan and offer him a job, the Sri Lankan boards a plane on his own volition and free will, under GOP, where is the human trafficking? It looked as if PL was just sullying the name of their former star ambassador to the United Kingdom, turned opponent.
The attack on Patrick Pillay has been as revolting as the accusations made to assassinate his character. For the electorate support, it has backfired to a certain extent for PL.
For a Christian country this is a sad turn of events of dirty politics. We do not need to stoop so low to get through an election. It has perhaps turned into the saddest election I have ever witness in Seychelles . It is quiet and it is depressing, without substance, little debate on issues and points that will affect our lives as Seychellois. Mantras are being hijacked from one party to the other. Division of our people over power has a sick feel to it.
The level of debate is very, very poor and unhealthy for a Nation that cannot afford to get it wrong any longer.
Pillay Leads Ramkalawan
Pillay is now perceived to be the lead opponent in principle to unseating James Michel, and Ramkalawan has taken a back seat with no new message, just a lot of new people around him, some more bald then the last election, hence wearing caps to cover their heads. The question remains is will Pillay and Afif who are former SPPF servants, be able to keep their wit and keep their smarts to convert initial advance, to victory.
Afif for his part is a technician, with little or no political instinct. The mistakes he make will cost Pillay dearly, just as the success he has made so far, will benefit Pillay.
Diversification of Lalyans is their best option. A Vice Presidential candidate from PL line up or Ramkalawan line could seal James Michel"s fate. But will Pillay be too proud to recruit? Will Afif be too proud to side step and administer instead of lead?
The measure of a Leader
is not gauged in the calm, but in the heat of battle where boys are made men, men make history or perish by their own follies and blunders.
