The U.S. Embassy in Port Louis advises U.S. citizens in Seychelles to avoid political rallies and demonstrations in the run up to the Presidential election. The Presidential election will take place December 3-5. Numerous public rallies and high-profile political events are expected to take place leading up to the election. These activities will lead to increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the period. Previous elections in Seychelles have generally been peaceful. However, as in any country, even peaceful demonstrations can quickly turn violent with little or no warning. You should avoid areas where rallies and demonstrations are taking place, and exercise caution in the vicinity of large gatherings.Remain aware of your surroundings, including local events, and monitor local news stations for updates. Maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to enhance your personal security. You should also be aware that in an emergency situation, mobile phone networks can be overwhelmed with call volume, making cellular communication difficult.

Never US ambassy in the past elections in Seychelles warns their citizens to be careful,knowing that seychellois are peaceful loving people and the majority shares the same faith as them.
Why such a warning?It is because this coming is special,it is,special because,it is the time in 4 decades in the history of seychelles that change from dictatorship to democracy is about to happenWith the experience the US government had made in recently,they know when dictators feel their throne is threaten,they tend to resort to voilence,then accept the WILL of thecpeople ,and often they become paranoid,that they use the guns more than their brains.Voilence and the guns seem to be dictators best tools for survival.
Having sentca warning of caution to its citizens,the US is also sending a tacit warning to Michel,namely,that the US will be watching you.......it will keep u under its microscope....and itcwill identify those who might tempt to create voilence and chaos and evidence wil be collected against them,so that they can face justice for political voilrnce at the ICC,just as dictators before him.
Se,chellois is a peaceful nation,historically only a small group so far has used voilence for personal and political achirvement,namely pl.It would not be difficult for the US government to find anyone who dare to harrass it citizens,should it happened.
US warning to its citizens in seychellois is unpresidented.Has the US intteligence traked down Michels phone conversations with his spies,ilks preparing to ran amok after Michel defeat,and act as the coward terrorists in Paris by opening ak 47 on onnocent seychellois and foreigners at Will?Does the US has convincing information that the incumber might refuse defeat,call victory even before official elrction result iscannounce in order to create mayhem?Only zhe US govt has the answer.However it warn beg for attention and concern.

MICHEL ,in his books of Speeches,has always preached about Peace and Stability.........so let there be peace and stabilty by simply accepting ur coming defeat,and roderly,according to the Constitution,relinquish power smoothly and peaceful as A real stateman.

We all have on many occasions,heard Michel/pl telling the world,that “Seychelles is a stable,peaceful,civilzed and democtatic country“.Well,this coming elections ,Michels government would have the opportunity to demonstrate to the world that Seychelles is a stable,peaceful,civilized and democratc country.
For in any Nation where democratic process is the norm,it is normal for different political parties to contest for political power.Within the political process,political power is held through peaceful and democratic ways and means and not through anarchy or voilence.
In this coming elections,Seychelles must show that it is part of the civilized world and adopt civilized political culture.
Seychellois wish is simple and clear,namely that Votes not Voilence should decide who governs Seychelles.In other words,Seychelles is telling politicians,“we the people choose,and they wil not allow any politicians to do otherwise“

He lost to pl,on all ocassions he has contested elections and should be ashame, of his performance.and stop eyeing the countrys Presidency .
