Seychelles Chamber of Commerce Praslin Chaired by Mr. Christopher Gill received Sybills Cardon Chairperson of SHTA today at Iles Des Palmes Eco resort.

The meet was Frank and to the point.

Miss Cardon ask that Mr. Gill refrain fro writing articles on Vijay Patel,placing his name on National Monuments, Signs, and national assets. On this issue, Mr. Gill said he will not refrain from writing on this issue as it is a issue dear to any Real Seychellois. Vijay has no business placing his name on national monuments and national buildings as if these historical and cultural assets are tantamount to one of his 20 ton trucks.

Miss Cardon ask Mr. Gill to refrain from writing about Select Seychelles and SHTA ex Chairman Freddy Karkaria.

Mr. Gill advise Miss Cardon this matter of public interest, and of interest to members of the Tourism trade, hence a subject of interest. Because Millions are owed to partners, the matter must be treated openly and in a transparent manner, unlike the policy SHTA adopted, leaving its members in the cold with Select Seychelles,knowingly.

On the issue of supporting the SHTA and it's aboard, when presented with this request, Mr. Gill said: " given the turmoil at SHTA, an election should takes place at the soonest time possible and a new board, made up of new members be elected. Failing that the association should consider dissolving.

The SCCI welcomes new members who feel STHA no longer represent their interests effectively.

SCCI has initiated numerous initiatives that are improving the partnership with government but above all. Making the Tourism industry buoyant and successful for its stake holders.

Dear Mr. Gappy,

Re: Provision of Security for Presidential Candidates

1                    I write out of concern for my personal safety following certain recent incidents.

2                    Recently, 8 of my dogs were killed at my home on Praslin. Last week a little car driven by  a person wearing little glasses followed my husband for three hours around town and even entered through the security gates at my home on Mahe and exited behind him when he left.

3                    On Sunday 19^th October 2015 my 86 year old aunty informed me that she received an anonymous, threatening and menacing phone call from a man questioning her about  my whereabouts.

4                    Since May 2015 I have gone through 5 mobile phones because they keep malfunctioning, my internet access both at the office and home are interfered with.  I assume that as the election time approaches the threats to my personal security will go into overdrive.

5                    What kind of regime acts in this cowardly fashion? Having failed to intimidate and scare Mr. Pillay off the State apparatus has now decided that I am a soft target?

6                    Mr. Gappy it is now of paramount importance that the Electoral Commission write to the Commissioner of Police requesting that these matters are fully investigated and appropriate steps taken against those responsible for these cowardly acts calculated to spread terror in the country in the run up to the election.

7                    I am sending a copy of this letter to all foreign Embassies, the British High Commission, local media houses for publication, the Commonwealth Secretariat and SADC amongst others.

8                    On Monday 19^th October 2015 when I disembarked from the Praslin early morning flight the person who had previously followed my husband around, was “waiting” and appeared  to be going up and down that part of the road between the domestic and the international terminals, at the airport.

9                    Please note that failure on the part of the Electoral Commission to act, will be treated as a condonation of the acts of terror and international organisations will be asked to intervene.

Michel Meets With Advisors!

James Michel has met with key advisors after returning from New York, where he did some shopping on  Fifth Avenue and a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, making a plea for small island states.

All Faiths Pray For Michel Exit!

Initially Mr. Michel thought it is best to run elections at the soonest time possible to guarantee a victory. In the time he left and then returned from the UN,prayer groups for all religious denominations had gathered in small groups throughout Seychelles praying for his convincing defeat at the polls. They prayed on Mosque. They prayed in the  Cathedral. They prayed at the Hindu Temple and the Hindi community told Ramu Pillay stop dragging them into politics. They prayed for Vijay Patel that he may stop living for himself, and remove his name on public monuments and national buildings which is placing pressure on all Indians in Seychelles.

UAE Key Advisors

The UAE key advisors were concerned with the future of the windmills in Victoria placed there two years ago, but not a single discount on energy costs for Seychelles resident.

They question the donation of $ 200 million in housing projects which include Ile Preservans, and Michel Administration makes it's citizens pay for houses already paid for by UAE as a donation.

UAE advisors were concern for their grotesques palace at the top of Mahe. If Michel loses, will they lose this palace by DEMOLITION ORDER? Or will the palace be used to house homeless Seychellois gone poor and indigent under James Michel?

UAE Advisors we are told but cannot confirm ask about the glorified brothels of. Kempenski and Four Seasosn Seychelles. They were concern that these sex farms would be made unavailable to them during their holidays when they fly into Seychelles by private jet, and fly their girls in from Russia and Ukraine for pleasure sessions.

UAE Advisors confirmed ( unconfirmed) that Mr. Michel's seat at the Ferrari Grand Prix Abu Dhabi will be reserved for him even if he loses elections. They have hinted that they may consider saving a seat for Ramkalawan and Bernard George, if Mr. Michel confirms the request.
