Minister Morgan Pulls A Hat Trick For Air Seychelles

The Minister For Transportation Mr. Joel Morgan has pulled a second amazing hat trick for Air Seychelles with the delivery of another Twin Otter Dehavilland 19 passenger plane named Ile of Denis. The plane cost Air Seychelles 6.5 million USD and was built in Canada.

The Twin Otter is an excellent plane and operates very efficiently, costing under SCR 1,000.00 per trip in fuel to Praslin. The planes are air conditioned, lovely seats, and safety features abound.

The pilots of these flights are renowned to be excellent, world class pilots. They put their flight time in on the Air Seychelles Twin Otter before moving on the the Airbus 330 - 400 and 330-200 planes.

The new acquisition is part of a program to give Air Seychelles Domestic fleet the youngest and most efficient fleet in the Indian Ocean. This is a timely moment to commend Minister Morgan for a fine effort, and focusing on what the Tourism Industry needs, not what suites one or two players.

The new planes now lined up will mean more frequency of flights at cheaper rates, Nader cutting the boat ferry Cat Cocos between Mahe and Praslin, the Pearl Jewel destination of Seychelles.

Air Seychelles will fly 187 flights a week to Praslin. Travelers and residents should take advantage of this fantastic experience, and bring their camera to film an incredible view of Seychelles seen otherwise only by helicopter.

Praslin business and resident community commend Minister Morgan for this smart move.

Credit must be given when credit is due....We knew for ablong Time that Morgen is not stupid....and for the past decades seychellois were often got angry with him,for they could not understand why someone.like Morgen with a Brain was following a blind idiot like Michel and executed his failure.....
We apprecuate that today,Mr Morgen has decided to act independently and effectively....by doing he is showing his quality as a leader, something he long deserve but was affected by his support for.michel.
MORGAN has been doing a good job for the last past years...he has become more interactive to ordinary seychellois, and listening to their problrm, concern but foremost walk the talk,.
He is proving to Seychellois, that he is a leader, and pushing himself at the very top future leader ante Crooked michel as political leader, amond side Faure who has been proving his a good administrator, and Jenpa a intellectual, and last not least Mr St Ange.
WE APPRECIATE your actions MrMorgen, keep it up,,,,you proving urself as a capable leeader, and u surely have more tobdo for the country in the future.

The reduction in air fares for a domestic flight has been welcome by the Praslin community. Already we have seen the changes in business patterns. More guests are flying into Praslin as independent travelers relying less and less on DMC monopoly companies. Guest arriving rent a car, hire a taxi, this puts money directly into Seychellois hands. The money is spread so everyone can have a fair share.
Ferry tariffs from Mahe to Praslin remain too high. We hope Minister Morgan will keep his promise to reduce ferry tariffs from Mahe to Praslin.
The Praslin community awaits a favorable reply on this issue aired on SBC.
We must also thank Roy Kinnair for all he has done to adjust the situation for Praslin. He has sound judgement so far. We look forward to our first direct flights from China, which is long awaited for the Tourism Trade and Business Community.
Hotels and business partners are encouraged to join SCCI where we all meet together irrespective of political views to handle our business affairs with government.
Thank you.

Mr Morgen gas indicated ...he will intervene in the process of getting Greedy Joe Albert get his astrronomic and unjustified high fare dowm.
Let Mr Morgen would have to by dictation ,setvferry rates,or open the route to other potential, and willing ferry service providers.
The astronomic ferry pricing has been destroying businesses on Praslin and ls Digue,as well as affect the tourism.indudtry, and such greedy practice can not be tolerated anymore.

Ferry fare Beef hurts and Keep tourists away and could become a self-fulfilling prophecy that hurts Praslin and la Digue economy. There must be a balanced appraoch going Forward so not to kill the market place.
Catcooc for the alst 10 years ENJOYED LARGE PROFIT DUE TO ITS MONOPOLISTIC CONTROL BUT FAILED TO COMPROMISING CUSTMOERS SERVICE AND INTERESTS...THIS MUST CHANGE ,FOR GREEDY Joe aLBERT EXPRESS NO CONCERN THAT SERVICE HIGH FARE HE PROPOSED WITHOUT SOCIO-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF POTENTIAL IMPACTS ,PARTICULARLY FROM TOURISM REVENUES AND LOCAL BUSNESSES.

Cat cocos fares is hurting the inter island movement for tourists and residents alike. The fares are simply too high .

The fares fleece potential growth on Praslin, makes it difficult to access Praslin. In the case of Tourists they must chose between Praslin and La Digue or take a three island melody trip on DMC rates with Creole to see Praslin for a few hours, and Joe Albert companies control these tourist 100 percent as if they are his cattle.

This has been going on for too long.

It is now back biting GOS on Praslin, as excursion operators go bankrupt.

GOS has let Cat cocos go on for too long. We must all support Joel Morgan initiative to restore sensible rates on the ferry from Mahe to Praslin. This must be done expeditiously.

For the economy to flow, inter is
And travel and transfer must be good value for money.

Simple!

Joe has been fleecing the entire Seychelles economy with high rates. As he flourishes he leaves a trail of dying businesses behind, because he controls the access to Praslin, sets the rates, they are not fair, controls a large percentage of excursions, with Mason controlling a smaller share, cutting out operators in charters, transfer, and he fills his hotels before he gives business to any other operator.

The collection of actions has turned Praslin upside down.

Pl it seems has just awoken to this disaster.

It is never too late to take action to correct a fault line in an economy.

PL leaders, who are capable and intelligent need to muster courage and determination to face down Michel.

Step One

Meet and resolve that Michel must resign and Constitution shall be restored to original intent of Founding Fathers on issue of Term Limit.

Step Two

Call on Michel's immediate resignation in exchange for a peaceful retirement, conditioned on him handing over JJ spirit access and control to group .

Step Three

Resolve new leadership with new Presidential Candidate, New Vice President, New Designated minister. make it fresh and keep it smart and young.

Step Four Extraordinary PL Congress

Resolve the above.

Step Five

New promotions, new campaign, new posters, new manifesto of PL solid principles.

Step Six
Move towards Government of Reconciliation instead of partisan politics of the past.

Step Seven

Ask for new election dates like SNP did,
The Election Commission will grant it out of decorum establish already.

Step Eight

Get Michel on the next flight on one way ticket to any where . The farther the better,

Step Nine

Shut down Victoria Times, it is a national disgrace.

Step Ten

The new team should go to Church seek blessings of The Lord and an intervention of Grace and Pardon.

8:07PM....This is a very bold ask !

You will remember, during 2013/2014, FAR came out with his vision of National Reconciliation for the 50th anniversary of SPUP. Since the call of National Reconciliation by FAR & JAM, Seychelles is now more divided by partisan politics than it was 10 years ago. The problem with FAR & JAM, they make nice speeches, utter great promises, but deep down they do not mean what they say. FAR & JAM are and were in the position to ensure National Reconciliation took place. They had to come clean, acknowledge their crimes, seek forgiveness from the victims, then only would the healing process have started. Unfortunately, we have seen their real intentions vis a vis Ton Pat. Unfortunately, it is now too late in the day for National Reconciliation. All we have to pray for is fair justice for all concered ! A Fair Minded Seselwa.

I did not say the above steps will work.
It is PL only option short of defeat.
Michel as I have said over and over, has over stayed his welcome.
He is a dictator exposed.
He offers nothing, I say, nothing in leadership qualities relevant to Seychelles today.
He must move on.
The first blunder was to think he is popular because we were silent.
His second blunder is built on the first blunder: call early elections before Christmas so he can go shopping in Singapore.
The third Blunder is to attack Patrick Pillay and his break away team. This blunder took a low level killed debate and made the election personal.
The fourth Blunder is to bring this Sri Lankan to Seychelles to trump up Human trafficking charges.
Patrick Pillay is a long serving ex- minister, and Ambassador to UK and Commonwealth. How can Michel be taken seriously?
Pillay may have his faults as all humans do, but he is carefully responding as Jesus would to all incidents. This is something Ramkalawan could never do.
This explains why SNP is imploding and only fanatics lost in a dream stay on board with Ramkalawan.
From what ii see Pat Pillay may not be many things as Michel camp imputes, but Pat Pillay has one key attribute of leadership Michel lacks: compassion in his humanity.

Sesel Pou Seselwa!
After all these years of a Michel, even PL needs some compassion, not just the rest of us in Seychelles.
