In the SNP Convention this year, party leader Wavel Ramkalawan stood before a crowd of 200 with square placards that say: " The Time is Now" ......( Again), after " State House Anytime", then the threatening " State House Anytime Now", predisposed from " Nou Pa Pou Zanmen Les Tombe" ( note the key word " Zanmen", we will treat later, and called political pensions outrageous. A mouthful indeed, but Ramkalawan requires a mouthful.

When the behind the door arrangements from State House were made, the Emoluments Bill 2006 et al, came before the National Assembly for debate and vote.
SPPF voted as usual. SNP what did they do?
It was awful, a transgression on the promise it made to the ordinary Seychellois, not long after kicked Frank Elizabeth out of the National Assembly, and breaking the political alliance with the Democratic Party ( DP). The SNP voted in FAVOR, as in YES to the pension and salary increases. Yes!
SNP led by Wavel Ramkalawan debated and argued in favor of the pensions, all of them. At the time it was a 38 percent increase in salaries. Draped in Green like a cameleon, they joined ranks with SPPF, the whole gang of national freeloaders, and voted: " YES"! Yes to a massive pension for life for each MNA regardless of age, regardless of political party. Do not let Ramkalawan talk you into a stupor state of numbness, he is the one that voted " YES".
From this YES, his spinner machine turned into "Ya Papa!". Today, we say, " Ya, Ou en Belle Papaya....koule ek plim lo li". Read on SNP it gets better.
Life of The Millionaire Priest
While ordinary Seychellois struggle, pay 15 percent on salaries plus 15 percent on anything they buy, nurses suffer, teachers suffer, life for Ya Papaya- priest millionaire has been very rosy the last five years.

RAM life pension must be cancelled by a new
Government.It is grotesque ,crooked to passed a law that gives MNAs regardless of time served in the Assenbly....Someone who work hours can not get the same salary as someone who worked years long .
Pension should be based on among of time an MNA served as Parliament member.....Ram was only 4 yrs in the Assenbly so he can not be legible for life pension as let say PILLAY Who served decades as both minister and Ambassador.

Just the recent increase in salaries and pensions cost the taxpayers of Seychelles: SCR. 7 Million per year. In Ten years, do the math Ram- it will cost SCR. 70 Million.
This does not include the pensions and salaries set in 2008 - 2014 which cost SCR. 26 million per year.
Add it.
SCR. 32 million per year.
Ramkalawan has used the plight of the Seychellois to embellish himself, get rich, fund his children thru school . Ask Glenny Savy about it.
He has delivered no substance whatsoever.
He has delivered no appeal to unite or reconcile differences in the opposition. Instead, he widens the gaps so he stays right where he is as an obstacle to change.

Thousands of seychellois are working hard to their retirement plan afloat.Meanwhile politicians have all at reserved seat at their own private lifrboats.
To make matter worse,the increasevof their salary does not inlude all public workers.Public sector workers do inportant jobs and are entitled to security at retirement.Does a lazybone and sucker like Ram,works more than a nurse,a doctor ,a teach,a labourer and so on?The answer is no.
