James Michel Goes Door To Door Praslin

James Michel as reported on SBC has pulled his two key secretaries off their office chairs and headed to Praslin to start addressing concerns of citizens. Mr. Michel started this door to door, in the last election when he realized that Mitcy Larue and his MNA's had dropped the ball on a key island strong hold, paving the way for strong gains by the opposition in the last election.
 Congratulations Mr.  Michel!

We must congratulate Mr. Michel for taking this bold initiative to visit the people of Praslin. Yes he has walked in the rain, yes he did only pre organized visits by some of his people sleeping on the job for years. But he did it, and we are yet to see the opposition on Praslin, except before an election. Wake up folks!
The Public of Praslin should welcome Mr. Michel. In return, Mr. Michel is the best person who can address the laziness of some of his ministers ( we will not name and shame at this time) and the lack of initiative of some of the Public servants confined to Mahe offices ( CEO Planning and Minister of Planning for example).
When the opposition turns up, they too should be welcome. But the Public must hold both Michel and the Opposition to action not mere words. Praslin has been neglected for far too long.

Praslin has been treated by offices in Mahe as some sort of colony and this mental mind set is now bound to change, given the business community will no longer tolerate apathy on Praslin issues by Mahe offices. Offices on Mahe will deal with issues and challenges Praslin faces.

Ministers Giving Praslin Time!

Minister Alain  St. Ange  has responded to our call that Praslin will not accept being sidelined when he sent the Samoa Circus to Praslin, and most recently gathered a few Carnival participants and journalists to go to Praslin. This is a positive first step. We congratulate Minister St. ange for responding to our calls for Praslin to get its fair share of activities and attention. But we want more and expect a more comprehensive program be provided next year, even a mini carnival after Mahe.

Other Ministers are giving Praslin the attention it needs, such as Minister Benstrong. Minister Bastienne has yet to advise us what he is doing on crime and drugs for our island. We look forward to hearing from him.

Praslin does not accept being left back in the 19 th Century. We want to move into the 21 st century like La Digue. Today many Praslin residents are leaving for La Digue for job opportunities. Many are moving to Mahe for better opportunities and safer waters. Captain Valmont I hope you read this and take action to insure our waters are safe.

The time for Praslin dreams, desires, aspirations to be respected is now. We are not third class citizens in this country. Read this line, then you will all read our lips if you have to if you think Praslin will be your yard dog on your beck and call at your leisure.
If the cap fits, wear it!

Every four years Michel come to Praslin,zo supposedly listen to praslinois concerns...but as all his visits nothing is donr...note slso Praslin concerns are national voncerns, involving all Praslinois,so it is not by visiting two inhabitants of Praslin that will solve the majority of praslinois concerns.....
And we may alsocask...what the purposecof having and paying a District mayor...such a show case and good for nothing.

What is the purpose of having a district mayor For decoration ,to greate job for pl members,to suck tax money ,,and window dressing or to be yes men in assembly?
While Michel visited two or three individuals ,,,,,,,,he has failed to addreessed concerns of Praqslinois ,,concerns he had been told repeadely since he is in power......Abefore all elections ,Michel tells us ,he visited seychellois to listen to their concenrs ..but nevr deliver....it would not be different this time as privious and multiple visits ...SKING TWO OR THREE INDIVIDUALS WHAT THEIR CONCERNS ,,WHICH ARE INDIVIDUAL CONCERNS AND FOR EACH FAMILY A DIFFERENT CONCERNS ,,WOULD NOT SOLVE THE GENRAL Problem pRASLIN ,fAce k^like under development .for the later is not a individual concern Michel ,but a general concerns impacting All praslinois lives ...In other words .the concerns of my neighbours does not encessary reflects my concerns .......so Michel should listen to Praslinois as the second district on seychelles as a whole not individuals ...He caN DO THE LATTER ,IF HE WANTS ,BUT TO SOLVE pRASLINOIS GENRAL PROBLEMS THERE MUST BE GENRAL ACTIONS ...NOT Actions that target tow or three individuals ....
Michel haD BEEN SEVERAL TIMNES ,GOIJNG AROUND HOUSES ...AND LOADS OF CONCERNS WERE EXPEDIATED TO HIM..........LITTLE HAD BEEN DONE......
monopoly ,,,CRIMES,ETC ...THERSE ARE NOT NEW AND HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY CONVENED TO Michel THROUGH THE PAST YEARS ....tHE QUESTION TO Michel ...IS WAHT THE PURPOSE OF LISTENING TO PRAQSLINOIS CONCEWRNS THAN TO GET NOTHING DONE ....?WHAT THE PURPOSE OF THESE DONEYKS REPRESENTING THE dISTIRCTS AND SITTING BIN THE aSSEMBLY ...?WHERE NOT LELCTED TO SERVE THEIR DISTRICTS ,?

Indeed Mr. Michel has done the door to door many times. I a shocked st times, that a sitting President makes these rounds, and films them in spite of the deplorable state people still live in under his government and his predecessor.
That said, much has been done in housing under Michel. It is not perfect, but much has been done.
If he had a real hard working Minister at Lands, who was interactive with the private sector, much more could be done. Housing and land issues would not be a fait accompli defeat for the government.
Right now, Lionnet is the biggest rock around Mr. Michel's neck.
The sooner that Mr. Michel realizes that Chrisktian Lionnets momm wants him in this job for herself and not the country, the sooner we can get on to resolving the problems we face at MLUH and deal with the issues as a Nation, not as a club.

Christian Lionnet is a national liability.

He is a disgrace to Michel yet Michel leaves him there because of his mommy malene Lionnet ex militia who sat on north east point at night waiting for an invasion with her ak -47.

Loinet rapes Michel afford for popular support............Proof,though Michel goes door to door,,,,the footprint Loinet left on Praslin impede pl gaining back Support.

James Michel was once very popular with Praslin. He was highly respected and well regarded as a person who keeps his word, delivers for Praslin.
His mistake ws first, leaving Praslin in Mitcy larues hands, who cannot control his own children, secondly, leaving Christian Lionnet as a Golden child of the revolution, to do what he wants with Prsslin. Unchecked, unabated, he has allowed Lionnet over the last four years, to destroy and erode all support left for PL.
PL will lose Praslin both districts in next elections, simply because PL took Praslin and Praslinoise for fools.
