Press Release



The Seychelles Chamber of Commerce Praslin Subcommittee chaired by Christopher Gill held a tet a tet with the Minister of Investment and Business Innovation Mr. Michael Benstrong on Praslin.
In attendance was Dr. Steve Fanny, and 25 key economic business players on Praslin.
The meeting
Lasted near two hours, and the issues discussed and addressed was the effect of monopolies on Praslin in 1. Ferry industry, 2. Cargo industry, 3. Tourism Industry.
A dossier of key issues was handed to the Minister, who expressed his keen engagement to address the issues presented by Praslin business community.
A longer detailed meeting will be schedule next month.

It is time to stop monopoly,it is unsustainable,desttuczive especially for a small microeconomy like ours .One can not achieve sustainable development by monopolies
