The SBC Protest

The Union For Change organized a protest to SBC to protest the work of the journalist of the State Media controlled 100 % by no other then James Alix Michel. We have all seen the manifestation of controls over the years. As the second round elections got underway, the control by Michel became more obvious to the point that even a moron would be offended.
Many were.

Protest A Success In Numbers
The protest was a grand success in numbers. It was a delight to see Pat Pillay on the front lines, the true leader of the momentum and energy against Michel in Union. Ramkalawan delivered his letter as Defacto President- Leader. But his momentum is on credit from Pillay. Boulle was there slugging up Hermitage. On arrival at SBC PL ordered the gates closed. The protestors stood at the gates the rain held up. The journalist stood at SBC offices looking on. Some made it to the other side earlier to join the protest. Others did not.

Michel Can Claim Success
While James Michel does control SBC through a puppet Board and Puppet CEO, he can claim success for the protest by Union For Change. Give credit where credit is due. Bravo James Michel! The protest was peaceful from your side. You did not shoot or tear gas anyone. You did not order any one of your thugs to beat up on the protestors. No one was bludgeon with rubber bullets or tear gas. For this you can rightfully claim success for the Protest as Commander in Chief Pro Tempo Magnus- Non Credito.

SBC VS Protestors
I am surprise the leaders of Union for change do not see the journalist at SBC as themselves, perhaps  these journalist are worse off, we must pity them.

Under Communism, these journalist are perhaps the most controlled government employees in the country. Their pick up,from home is controlled. Their tea break is controlled. Their lunch is delivered in boxes daily. They are dropped off from work at odd hours. Picked up the next day. They are under paid. But given public housing allocation on rental basis only. They do not own land in their own country. Most do not own even a car . They have no fat cat pension for life. In a word, they live the existence of modern day slaves.

They in turn control the propaganda machine of James Michel. The journalist are like slaves. Ironically the protestors call upon slaves to implement more freedom of speech.

Ironically, Ramkalawan delivers a letter calling for more Freedom of Speech. Yet this is the same Ramkalawan that sued me over my Free Speech for SCR. 1,000,000.00. This is a disgrace in itself. He secured a SRC 200,000.00 judgment from a Fabrike Judge who thinks clergy in Seychelles do not have sex, and do not drink alcohol, and do not lie. We Seychellois know better.
Ramkalawan has no credibility to write to SBC when he himself does not tolerate alternate opposing views. What makes him better then Michel on this subject? He knows Pat Pillay and Philip Boulle, that is about it.

Wrong Battle Ground

A protest at SBC and a letter as if SBC can do something about what they report. They cannot. They are under orders. SBC will not fall as the Union leaders foolishly believe. It will dig in. Then the protest will have to back to SBC over, again and again. Michel will not fall as SBC falls. This is la la land. Wake up guys, you are overcome with euphoria of Facebook. Get real.

Why?
Because Ramkalawan wrote the wrong letter , and he went to the wrong gate.

Why?

God only knows!

At the gates of Heaven St. Peter will ask Ramkalawan: " Wavel, why did you go to the wrong gate?" Answer: Once you've seen a gate, you've seen them all. St. Peter then tosses the keys to the gates of Heaven- attached with the keys to the gates of State House of course beyond the steps of Heaven.

I rest my case.

Well written and well balanced. Mr. Gill is obviously one of the leading minds of the country.
It is a shame Ramkalawan. Takes his views and ideas in a negative light.
Wavel grow up.

It is undisputable that Pillay is the magnet zhat, attract and galvanize People to rally, not Ram.Even Mr Ste Ange in a interview to a Mauritian newpapers ,publicly recognised and showed support for Mr Pillays actions that is,redefinig the way politics is done in the country.

Well this is 100 %. Even I temper my tongue because of Pillay and Boulle, or else Ram would not lsurvive the day.
We do this in the interest of Unity and National interest.
Now Ram needs to take a card from this and temper himself for the betterment of the Nation.
Personally I have discussed this matter with many people and my family. We would much prefer to see Boulle or Pillay running the show at this stage, at least after the Petitions are over with.
Ram just cannot unite and keep us united. He is from SPPF, unfortunately has picked up many bad habits from Rene.

I believe as many other Seychellois that Ram has played all his card. That he is a frustrated leader who political DNA has the indelible marks of Rene.He is too stuck in the old ways and can not let go.The lingering spots of the Rene!s residue in his mentality do little to inspire confidence.
Ram has failed his mission.......we donot blame him for not winning the election, but not taking power.Being on the throne was his destiny,he failed badlly,Hence, there is a need for someone new at the helm of zhe opposition.Pilay, has brought a new demension to the oposition, hence,he should be the the legitimate new opposition, along his side all the other mentors...Boulle and others.ThecOpposition has a very good team, but the leader ofcthe team is nott up to zhe task,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well said.
He has failed grossly. Now he is trying to cover it up,at the expense of stability.
He used fake profiles to attack gill.
Now he is doing the same with Pillay.
Any one who is a threat to his dumb ass brain is marginalized.
Let this chapter play itself out. After that the man needs to face himself in the mirror.
Calamity Ram-Bo.

I read this article. I never thought of the situation as Mr. Gill has highlighted. He is perfectly right all the way.

Ram is sureiy proverbial Trjan Horse, sent by pl to destr the Opposition from within. The Opposition should move quickly to excorsie this ghost, becuase will haunt the opposition.
Ram should retire. There is no doubt that Ram~bo is of wealthy stock,so wealthy that he could afford to spum his pension and benefits .Why donot u give us a break Ram?

Unbelievable Ramkalawan. I am a solid supporter of the movement for change in Seychelles since before I could grow hair.
I have grown hair all my life.
Now I have no hair.
Ramkalawan is still playing with people's sentiments.
His salary is guarantee every month like all PL minister and Mancham.
We are the losers not him.

Just a month ago,a great wave of optimism was building and sweeping across seychelles.People were furtively~~then later even openly~~daring to hope that they would ride in on the great wave that was forming.

The election took place and the wave broke.Deeply shocked,we al went down like jonah and came all spluttering washed up and beached on the same old deserr shore from where we started. We ended up on the same desert shore because our captain sailed us to the wrong course.

If the Opposition continues with the same current leader that it has right now, gradually the Opposition would loose the monmentum it enjoys so far.The Opposition needs a dynamic, focus leader,to the likes of Pillay...rather than what it has tried and tested over the past decades.
We cannot forget that until recently, that Ram has ben orchestrating fractionalism in the opposition, causing acrimonious divisions, and engaging in activities that shack of coruption.
The people has given Ram his change to bring change on several occassions, each time,Ram has deceived them......it he is on the verge of deceiving them once more, which would kill the opposition momentum. The oposition has two choices...1)Continue with the same bad captain and take the risk on runing aground,or2)Just captain and reach their planned destination safely..

Michel is on borrowed time.
So is Ram.
The opposition cannot stay united with Ram as it's leader.
Simple.

Just like soccer team, when the team has played and won,and the coach failed to claimed and defend the victory, itcis then an obligation for the team, supporters and technical board to sit down and deal with the issue..Deep reintrospection need to be undertaken for the collective oposition leadership, not for the purposes of looking for scapegoats, but for the oposition to reinvigorate its leadership with a leadership which effect the will of the people
For the last decades,Ram has, spent his political looked in a binary “michel must go!“Michel must stay which has manisfested itself in a Michel versus Ram..We have enough of Ram versus,Michel, for the end result is,always the, same.

Mancham praised Michel and Zuma for bringing Unity and Reconciliation to Madagascar. It amazing that,Michel can bring unity and reconciliation to foreign nation, but not in his own society.

Michel did not kill ANYONE in Madagascar.

Promising Seychelois 13zh monthly Salary for mid January ,seychellois has seen not even one rupee increase on the salary, many are planning to take to the streets to protest again Michrl andcpl, like Employees from orphanage etc........Danger for pl,for itcseems Seychellois have decided not to stay passive anymore...........It is,also good signs forvzhe opposition, namely that many seychelois voted pl brcuase the money pl promised notcpl ideology, thus potential supporter for zhe Lynion.. it tells us alst that seychellois has decifef zovtake tovthe streets more often if zheir voice is not heard..........

Michel must change and act immediately and get zhe country unite, for if he was able to rob zhe election to keep power, street protests might well break him down.....Streets protects sermvto be the choosen tool by Seychelles to make their voice heard, and if pl does not change must be prepare for more regular and bigger street protests.
