DMC are a economic vestige of the one party state era. The business model will not work for Seychelles if they are resigned to only their bottom line and they lack social responsibility to support other Seychellois business. In Praslin and La Digue they do not let a single rupee fall out of their pocket . This is the strategy according to one manager he is instructed to implement.

We do not need to name the manager at this time. What we need is for these DMC to operate as agents, as intended, and not Principals has is the case. On these two islands they need to show more support for Charters, Cultural and Heritage Sites,Ferries, Hotels run by Seychelloise.
They are indeed in a sensitive position.
If they do not act to assist the Trade in a meaningful manner, then Trade must hold GOS accountable for permitting mono lies to flourish in a Free Market.
