1. Keep good cordial relations with your neighbor. Your neighbor can be your best friend or worse enemy.

6.Dogs are excellent warning signs if they are trained and tied at night.
7. If you tie one dog, release another, and rotate. One is a warning, the other can case a intruder.
8. Use deadlocks on your doors.
9. Learn to use camera applications with I-pad or i phone or equivalent.
10. To lower crime, first and foremost information is the key.

Good steps!but in the end of the day,what is really need to be done is having govt dealing with the root cause of increase and crimes in general by fighting effectively drug problem of youths,high unemploymrnt among youths,esprcially zhose who after Compulsory education and cannot make it to polytechnic etc..to have an alternative ,a second chance in life.

Rene!s NYS was a costly rndeavour,without real return,so we can not accept a programme so costly forcTax x payers with little benefial achievemrnt.

I propose that we replace the guns and introdrination and wastage of youths time with something that gives those youths a secong chance,so that they can be productive to society and selves.
I propose a DUAL NATIONAL VOCATIONAL PROGRAMME. What is ,how it works?Youths who failed to higher education,would be able to choose between various jobs,from mechanic,electricians,plumbers and so forth.Once they chosen the job zhey would like to learn,they would attend a specialvdchool that provide ONLY Theortical,courses to those youths wihile for the practical they would be on a ON~JOB,ON~SITE, training to gain the practical experience
That means,the programmr is a shared one ,between State and professional organisation,firms ..in fact all types and seize on bussinesses.(NB.To encourage private sectors tobparticipate invzhe programme,some kind of Tax reduction must be included.
Moreover,the participants would share half day at school and half day ON~JOB,,,,and Every Import that THREE WEEKS PER MONTHS.... WHY?As you have notice,the Diciplinary piece provided by Rene!s NYS,is missingcin my proposal. Hence,the reasonvwhy as propose THREE WEEKS VOCATIONAL TRAINING,,the Onebwerk left Participant would be mandated tovattend a Week long Camping,,in order to learn not howvto make drills,use an AK 47,but learn about Civic,Ethic values,Teamwork,rtc.. that is for example waking up on time,doing little morning run,learn doing cooking together,making one!s bed,washing kne!s clothes and ironi.g..etc useful activities among others such as going on doing community voluntary small jobs like at the Elderly house etc
The camp itself,will be small to cater around 40 to 60 max participants weekly (that is each week there would be avnew groupcofvparticipants in the Camp...to ensure camp is not closed,that Camp wotkers have workvall year round,and therby perfect thensrlves and theirvprogrammes,at a less expense possible for Tax payers while being effective And you notice that in most cases participants while doing Vocational Training,after their training go home,so no rxpense for catering participants,three werksvlong per month,which is a lotvof tax payers money save compare Rene!s NYS
Those who excel in both theory and practical,could while working,be able to continue its study in special organised courses by State atcPolythecnic..etc...for instsnce nifht course,via internet or weekends etc. .

I miss one zhing i. The first party. Namely that during the Two year Vocational programme,the host company would be encouraged to privide a vonluntary small monthly,ENCOURAGE SALARY .
